The team at Digital Marketing AIMCHEM are excited to put the call out for a talented WordPress Web Designer who has a passion for building websites that not only look beautiful but also convert.
The role will primarily be focused on the design and development of websites using WordPress whilst project managing your own clients. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team in a collaborative manner ensuring we are always adding value to our clients.
We are looking for a web designer first and foremost, not a developer.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, has energy, has strong technical skills, great at problem-solving and is self-motivated
o if you:
Live and breathe web design
Are an analytical thinker, logic driven and able to solve problems
Know WordPress like the back of your hand
Understand SEO, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Have graphic design experience
Are able to use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe XD in your sleep
Have 2+ years of experience working hands-on in a web development/design role
Have no issues speaking and meeting with clients
Are a fast learner
Can adapt to and learn new technologies
Have an incredible eye for detail
Have a passion for delivering excellent results
Have an opinion
Thrive on delivering results

Then this role is NOT the role for you…
Your Role:
You will be working alongside our Head of Web Development assisting on the design and development of websites
Liaising with clients as you will be the key project manager
Doing regular analysis of Google Analytics for our clients
Develop, test, and deploy features, optimisations, bug fixes, custom functionality, and integrations both front-end and back-end
Build high converting landing pages (Experience with UX is a must)
Learn new technologies and constantly improve your knowledge
In charge of the maintenance of websites ensuring all plugins are up to date etc.
Skills We Need You to Have:
3+ years of commercial WordPress experience
Including basic coding & customisation of themes using a wide range of visual editors
3+ years commercial experience in website design & layout design for responsive websites
Hosting fundamentals including CPANEL and domain administration
Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics and ideally experience with Google Tag Manager
Having a strong skill set of Photoshop & Illustrator (And other Adobe products)
Graphic design experience in digital design
