The Opportunity
Carry out assigned project and mechanical engineering work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards within the Water projects/Programs.
Undertake engineering design and documentation for our current mechanical engineering projects.
Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities etc.) and internal (colleagues, managers etc.).
Embody enthusiasm to work with a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary design setting, and;
Liaise highly effectively with internal/external stakeholders.
Project Lead small projects within discipline.
Contribute to developing the technical capability of junior staff
What we’ll love about you
Typically, 3-10 years’ experience.
Knowledge of relevant systems, procedures and practices.
Solid technical skills pertaining to mechanical engineering, ideally in a consulting engineering environment and within the Water sector.
Aware of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
Develop technical skills across a broad range of areas within discipline.
Basic use of BIM software and how to use and review models.
Developing experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple varying size projects and applying business systems.
Developing capacity to deliver best client outcomes/options which have saved the client cost/time.
